Surfing Swansea Heads

In July 2011, an east coast low pressure system produced big swells which hit the NSW east coast providing a boon for the big wave aficionados. Surfing spots that lay dormant for the most part of the year suddenly came to life like the wakening of a hibernating grizzly bear. Not for the faint of heart, these waves were for fit and experienced surfers only.
